Webinar – Monitoring and Supporting Learners on StepsWeb

StepsWeb is a comprehensive literacy programme which has been designed to be as intuitive as possible – for teachers, as well as students.   However, effective teaching still requires active monitoring - to identify if a student is off-task or needs extra help.

This 30-minute webinar will guide you through practical and efficient ways to monitor student activity and progress in real time. We will remind you where to find more comprehensive diagnostic reports, but this session is designed to show you how to implement a simple, but effective, weekly monitoring routine. You’ll learn how to:

  • Quickly check what students are working on—or not working on.
  • Identify when students are struggling.
  • Demonstrate the right strategies for particular activities
  • Provide ongoing support or adjust student settings if necessary.

The webinar will include the opportunity for questions and discussion, so you’ll be able to ask about issues you face in your classroom.
